President charges Ogun State Branch Chairman on Commitment to the Development of the Branch
President and Chairman of Council, ESV Victor Alonge, PNIVS, FRICS, FCIoD has charged the Ogun State Branch Chairman, ESV Adeolu Emmanuel Adejimi, MNIVS, RSV and his Executive Committee on dedication and commitment to the development of the Branch and the restructuring vision of the leadership of the Institution.
The President made the call at the investiture of ESV Adeolu Emmanuel Adejimi, MNIVS, RSV as the 12th Chairman, alongside the 2025/2027 Executive Committee of the Branch which took place today, July 12, 2025 at DLK Event Centre, Abeokuta.
To the Chairman and his Executive Committee, President said, "As you embark on this new chapter, I want you to bear in mind that you have been entrusted with a critical mandate. You are the architects of the future of our noble Profession. Your role demands a meticulous approach to governance, and an unwavering dedication to the development of the Branch and the Institution."
He reminded the new leadership that the eyes of the members of the Branch are upon them, and their success will be measured by the impact they make on their lives. He charged the Chairman to deliberately and intentionally inspire and connect critical stakeholders to the profession and the services the members render. Engagement efforts are an investment and a process that is worth the effort, or can the profession and the members flourish without effective engagement", President queried.
Reacting, ESV Adejimi pledged to forster engagement with the government and critical stakeholders to enhance the interest of the Branch and the members.
“As an Executive Committee, we shall make engagement with stakeholders a priority, in moving the Branch to the next level, and in fostering the welfare of our members", he promised.
He also promised to function within the boundaries of the Constitution of the Institution and the Bye-Law of the Branch. The investiture ceremony saw government officials, traditional rulers, eminent personalities from the state, past chairmen of the Branch and well wishers in attendance.
