NIESV PAID ADVOCACY VISIT TO THE INDIAN HIGH COMMISSION
On October 16, 2023, the Institution as part of its advocacy and partnership agenda, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Shri G. Balasubramanian, the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria led by the President of the institution, ESV Johnbull Osarumen Amayaevbo, PNIVS, RSV, pslc
He provided an overview of NIESV, as a professional body dedicated to advancing the real estate profession in Nigeria. According to him, its members are experts in various aspects of real estate and adhere to global best practices. The visit was marked by several noteworthy highlights:

Bilateral Relations: The President lauded the High Commissioner's efforts in nurturing the long-standing bilateral relations between India and Nigeria. The two nations have seen steady and buoyant trade relations, with Nigeria being India's largest trading partner in Africa.
Partnership and Mutual Benefits: The Institution expressed its keenness to collaborate with the Indian embassy and the Indian investment community. They aim to further deepen and strengthen India's business interests in Nigeria and leverage the goodwill earned by Indians in Nigeria.
Forthcoming Trade Fairs: The Commission informed the President and his team about the upcoming Indian trade fairs. These events he said provide an excellent platform for NIESV to network with Indian businessmen and women, fostering valuable connections and business opportunities. He also promised to help the Institution with a link o enable the Institution reach out to the India's Chamber of Commence.
Professional Services: In the President speech, he informed the commission the institution’s readiness to offer its real estate services to the Indian embassy, its staff, and Indian travelers to Nigeria for trade, business, and investment purposes. They can assist in accommodation, property-related matters, and provide consultancy services.
Collaboration with Indian Valuers: The Institution proposed collaboration and exchange programs with Indian Valuers. This would involve training, knowledge sharing, capacity building, and partnerships on empowerment projects.
This event not only marks an essential step in the advocacy agenda of this administration but also hints at the bright prospects of collaboration with India.
