The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyor and Valuer (NIESV) has constituted a twenty one man Presidential Advisory Committee on Economic and Real Estate Analysis Team to critically discuss and identify the impacts of various government policies and programmes on real estate.
The Committee that cut across the six geopolitical zones will be chaired by ESV Emmanuel Obiajulu Omuojine, while ESV Chukwudi Stephen Ubosi will serve as Alternate Chairman just as ESV Monday N. Ahiwe is the Secretary.
President of the Association, ESV (Chief) Emmanuel Okas Wike stated this in a statement made available to Daily Dispatch on Wednesday in Abuja.
The president noted that the team would serve as the fulcrum to examine government policies in terms of assets value in Nigeria and project how members will maximally benefit from such policies.
He said: “Distinguished noble colleagues,
recall one of the promises I made in my acceptance speech at the inauguration of my presidency and take off of this administration was the setting up of a strong Economic and Real Estate Analysis Team to critically discuss and identify the impacts of various government policies and programmes on real estate.
“I wish to bring to your attention that after series of consultations, I have constituted the Presidential Advisory Committee. The team serves as the fulcrum to examine government policies in terms of assets value in Nigeria and project how our members will maximally benefit from such policies.
“The team shall also look into other issues that may be referred to it from time to time, and advise accordingly. Below are members of the committee.
ESV Emmanuel Obiajulu Omuojine as Chairman; ESV Chukwudi Stephen Ubosi as Alternate Chairman; ESV Monday N. Ahiwe as Secretary; ESV Adekunle G. Awolaja; ESV Isah Jatto; ESV (Prof) M. B.
