The National Council of the Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV) has constituted the Conference Planning Committee for the institution's annual conference in Ibadan, Oyo next year.
The Committee is charged with planning, organizing and delivering the 2018 Conference in a way that would reflect international standard in terms of its general and specific technical and organizational presentations.
The committee whose Chairman is Victor Alonge, a fellow of the institution and board member of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) has since been inaugurated by NIESV President, Dr. Bolarinde Patunola-Ajayi.
The NIESV President charged members of the Committee to see their appointment as an important call to contribute to the progress of their profession.
He challenged them to rise up to the challenge of organizing a world class conference that members of the Institution have been yawning for, in terms of providing a veritable professional gathering for members in moving our nation out of current economic malaise.
Responding, Alonge thanked the President and Council for the opportunity and the confidence reposed in the members of the committee.
Alonge promised that the committee would work tirelessly to justify such level of confidence by delivering on its mandate for the benefit of members and all its stakeholders.
